Grizzly Jacket

Stuff like..

SURFACE TO AIR Grizzly Jacket

SURFACE TO AIR Grizzly Jacket

this make me excited for fall. It’s a combination of the shearling vest and the standout color that’s sold me on SURFACE TO AIR’s Grizzly Jacket. The biker-inspired silhouette has side pockets, zip closure and is the perfect layering piece. Kind of obsessed.

Hudson Shoes

Just..

Mirar Slate Booties

Mirar Slate Booties

introduced to Hudson Shoes and thrilled!  The London brand set out in the early 90’s to “fill a gap in the shoe industry” and make “affordable, forward thinking, high quality footwear.”  With practical booties, updated oxfords and so much more, looks like the brand accomplished exactly that. Oh, they’ve got men’s too.

GAR-DE

I became..

GAR-DE AW11

GAR-DE AW11

mildly obsessed with the line GAR-DE when I was at a market appointment last spring. Anyone who has been to my apartment can attest; several of the looks from their Aw11 lookbook are on my bulletin board. Prior to seeing the fall collection, I hadn’t heard of the New York City brand, but they’ve made quite an impact. GAR-DE is made up of a diverse group of artists, producers and creators who draw inspiration from their urban terrain. So, no surprise, the collection is comprised of beautifully made pieces with edgy details, great cuts and fabrics that are gorgeous. Not to mention a really strong color palette and very wearable prints.  Definitely one to get on your radar.

La Fille d’O

Introduced by..

La Fille d'O

La Fille d'O

La Fille d'O

La Fille d'O

my sister, La Fille d’O is a lingerie line that is anything but ordinary. Belgian designer Murielle Scherre is the master mind behind the brand that is feminine and rebellious at the same time. The risqué lines contour and enhance the natural shape of the body. You can clearly see from the collection that the designs are innovative and unparalleled by what’s out there. So amazing you won’t want to keep these underpinnings hidden.

Blanket Boot

They..

No. 6 Blanket Boot $390.00

did it again. No. 6, and their infamous clog boots have come back with some great additions to the collection for the upcoming season. I was at the shop a few weeks ago and saw samples of the blanket boot. Needless to say, I’ve been minorly obsessed ever since. It’s pretty much their classic buckle boot with a panel of Navajo-inspired wool fabric. The fabric’s from Italy, they’re handmade, super comfortable, practical, and oh-so cool. I lived in my shearling ones last season and I’m thinking these could be a great addition to the closet. Thrilled to see them online, I bet my credit card company is too.

La Garçonne Moderne

Another one..

La Garçonne Moderne

La Garçonne Moderne

for the wishlist. Been a long time fan of La Garçonne, so I’m really excited to see the in-house project La Garçonne Moderne. Designed by the company’s founder, Kris Kim, the garments have an androgynous feel (which I love) and just seem really easy to wear. Fine looking pieces that would always be classics. The line is available exclusively at La Garçonne.

Christopher Waller

I could..

Chris Waller AW11

Chris Waller AW11

live in those pants. Well, pretty much the entire Christopher Waller AW11 collection actually.  The London-based designer drew inspiration for fall from the minimalist artists of the late 50’s and 60’s and his pieces reflect exactly that.  Luxurious fabrics, that are beautifully made with just the right amount of detail and very, very wearable. Simple, super chic and perfect for transitioning from day to night.  Can’t wait to see what he’s got planned for Spring 2012.

SFS Tunic Top

I usually shop..

SFS Tunic Top

SFS Tunic Top

for clothes that are versatile and can be used from season to season (although I am kind of excited to buy a few cozy sweaters for the cooler weather.) The SFS Tunic Top is a definite must on my list. It’s lightweight cotton, and can be paired with cut-offs and moccasins OR layered underneath those cozy sweaters. Inspired by her father’s successful kimono business, vintage styles and traditional methods, SFS (San Francisco Souvenirs) was started in 2005 by designer Shinobu Sering. The garments are made in San Francisco and more styles can be found at Gravel & Gold.

Hansel from Basel

It kind of goes without saying..

Hansel from Basel Kneepad Tights

Hansel from Basel Kneepad Tights

that kneepad tights are right up there with elbow patch sweaters. There is no shortage of choices for hosiery this season, but Hansel from Basel is definitely one of my favorites. They’ve got a great assortment of socks, tights, leggings and bags (how great is this zigzag tote?). The Haus Haus Knee Hi ‘s would go perfectly with a pair of Keller boots, and these tights are a simple staple that should be in every girls wardrobe!
