In a perfect world..
Belle Heir Vintage
where there are no messes and money is no object, my child’s closet would be stocked with clothes from Belle Heir. The collection of fine vintage for little girls and boys is exquisite. They offer unique pieces for children from newborn to five years old and each one is just so sweet. I do think they would be perfect for a special occasion, or would make a lovely gift for a dear friend. Take a look at more from Belle Heir here.

One of a kind..
Auburn Puffer Coat
pieces that will not dissapoint. Kristina Franco, who runs Allen Company Inc, offers a thoughtfully curated collection of vintage styles. New stock is added every Monday, and although the company is based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania, these are styles you’d come across at NYC boutiques. Choose from fab outerwear, tops, bottoms, shoes, bags & accessories. But act fast, I had my eye on a beautiful swing coat and while I was pondering my possible purchase, it became someone elses treasure. Timing is everything!

Woolrich Down Vest
hard to come across great vintage clothes for guys. The women’s and kid’s markets are flooded, but men’s is a different story. Here are just a few noteworthy places I came across while perusing the web. Wooden Sleepers has a good selection of flannels, hoodies and anoraks as well as tons of pre-owned accessories. Hit up Where is the Cool? store for some really great pieces for killer prices. Ina Men’s has an awesome selection of designer brands. More high-end consignment rather than vintage, but great nonetheless. Score some restored vintage sunglasses from YakBlak, and as they put it “fix your face”. Even better the second time around.

Vintage Inspired Cloth Doll, Ela
the paper dolls from back in the day. These adorable cloth dolls are hand sewn by Etsy designer Carmit, who lives in Israel and was inspired by her daughters to start Baby To Go. Collect them all or pick just one – each doll has a story of its own. The perfect pint sized pal!

Mendleson Wooden Crate, $68
turned extraordinary with wooden crates, vintage tins and other antique pieces from Etsy shop FrenchByDesign. I was initially drawn to the vintage crates because they remind me of storage bins my first roommate in New York had that I loved. After perusing the shop though, I came across a lot of other items that would be pretty great additions to my current abode. The concept of the store was created by a French girl, Si. She relocated to the US and found it really difficult to find those items that are totally accessible in Europe. Si scouted flea markets, small towns, anywhere possible for vintage treasures – even sourcing some items during her frequent trips back to France. Legit, cool and completely one-of-a-kinds.
Deadstock Swedish Army Belt, $75
of a write-up – not something I usually would say about a belt, but this one is certainly worthwhile. A member of the team at Inventory found these belts
a while back, and after some major hunting, the company was able to source them for their site. They are vintage army belts from Sweden, made from natural tan leather and super hard to find. The term “deadstock” refers to just that, it means that they were part of the original production and were not reproduced. Inventory’s getting low, so get on it.
P.S. – the image below is an actual shot of the belt after years of wear, clearly it’s one of those things that just gets better with age!

on all things white. The Branwell Blouse along with all of the other white finds are from Adore Vintage, an online shop with an exquisite selection of true vintage pieces ranging from the early 1900’s to the 1980’s. Also check out their blog, tons of great outfit inspiration, ideas on how to mix old and new pieces and vintage street style photos.
