to have a home filled with the Scandinavian designs from Huset. The name Huset means “the house” in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian. This shop brings together individuals who create collections of beautiful modern products like Lisa Bengtsson Tillsammans Posters, Camilla Engdahls Arla Birds, and of course anything from Ferm Living. It’s close to impossible to only name a few. So don’t take my word for it, go scout the rest here.

Velour Navy Jerome Jacket

Liking this..

Velour Navy Jerome Jacket

Velour Navy Jerome Jacket

spring jacket sold at Number Six. The shop in London balances their assortment by carrying a mix of classic brands and newer lines, like Velour, the maker of the Jerome Jacket.  According to the description, this fishing jacket is not just cool looking it’s quite functional – made from waxed cotton, with an adjustable hideaway hood, leather toggles and plenty of pockets. Velour is all about making great fitting, timeless garments with super detail.. looks like they accomplished their objective with pieces like this one.

Staale Glove

A collaboration worth mentioning..

Norse Projects x Hestra Staale Glove $110

Norse Projects x Hestra Staale Glove $110

Norse Projects and Swedish glove manufacturer, Hestra team up for the second year in a row to create a traditional style workwear glove, called the Staale Glove. Hestra has been around since 1936 and is one of the leading glove manufacturing brands for pretty much all things outdoor related (from skiing to construction). Norse is a menswear shop in Copenhagen, that through the combination of carrying great products and really smart collaborations has gained international recognition.  The Staale Glove has a soft deer skin leather outer and the wool terry lining you’d expect from this traditional style.  Pretty classic, rugged and timeless. Available in black, dark brown, tan, and yellow.

Lars Andersson Spring 2010 & Beyond

The looks of..

Lars Andersson Spring 2010

Lars Andersson Spring 2010

Lars Andersson.  Lars is a Swedish designer, who now resides in New York and hand-knits all pieces in his studio.  I was introduced to his line last fall and fell in love with the wearability of the line. Not to mention, the super luxurious feel (the result of using the finest yarns from Italy and Japan) and the clean, contemporary Swedish aesthetic. He also does men’s and his following is growing rapidly, so if this is the first you’re hearing of him, it’s definitely not the last!
