that just so happens to be crushable. You can fold it up in your pocket or shove it in a bag, and once opened back up it takes its original shape. No unfortunate dents to be found, how clever! The hat is 100% wool and made by Steven Alan. If you tend to be sentimental but a bit careless with your belongings, then this is one to add to the fall wish list.

Beach Blanket

Never thought..

Steven Alan Beach Blanket $48

Steven Alan Beach Blanket $48

I’d be raving about a beach blanket. But these from Steven Alan are something to talk about. I got one for my birthday 2 years ago (from the other half of threetwentyeight) and instantly fell in love with the colorful stripes. The fact that it’s big, seats 2 comfortably, lightweight and soft doesn’t hurt either. Perfect for trips to the beach, picnics in the park and really great gift for just about anyone.

that could easily be shared between guys and girls. The Sea Slicker by Steven Alan is such a clever piece because it folds into itself, making it easy to shove into your tote when your not using it. Lightweight and a perfect layering piece for the unpredictable transitional months.

Summer Swimsuits

One day..

Adore Vintage

of warm weather and of course my mind is racing with thoughts of being on the beach. Yep, still working on “living in the now.” Anyway, my selection of suits is much different now than what it used to be due to the fact that I’ll be chasing after my little one, rather than basking in the sun. I love this 1950’s swim suit from Adore Vintage, however I may just stick with my burnt orange one piece from last season’s J. Crew line and and my good ol’ standby from Malia Mills. Here are a few other pretty styles that caught my eye…

Talache Sneakers

Never would’ve guessed..

Nike Sportswear x Steven Alan Talache Sneaker $115

Nike Sportswear x Steven Alan Talache Sneaker $115

that Nike would collaborate with New York designer Steven Alan, but they did. And given the fact that both brands are pretty darn cool, it’s no surprise the outcome is a line of sneakers that have been really well received since their debut a few months back. The unlikely duo partnered up to update several of Nike’s signature styles. Result: shoes that use the Nike technology known for with surprising twists signature of Steven Alan; available in exclusive fabrications and colorways. Updated classics, can’t complain.
