Guest Hunter, Shannon Hodgson

Welcome..

Shannon Hodgson

Shannon Hodgson

Shannon Helen Hodgson. She lives in Soho, NYC with her 10-year-old NewYorkie Bubba. A fashion stylist with dreams of opening up her own children’s clothing & accessory boutique, including her own little ladies clothing line Juni. Shannon began as an intern at MTV House of Style, and assisted many of the top fashion stylists only to realize that she didn’t want to work with celebrities or high-end fashion magazines. She found a liking for the less dramatic fashion world of dot.com. Now as the Style Director at Ann Taylor, Shannon has time to focus on Juni & pursuing her true dreams.

Shannon is a free spirit, super cool, and one-of-a-kind, so be sure to keep on reading to get the inside scoop from this talented NYC stylist.

Guest Hunter, Tracee Yang

We’ve got..

Guest Hunter, Tracee Yang

Guest Hunter, Tracee Yang

Tracee Yang as our Guest Hunter this week!  She’s a New Jersey native and one of the first people I met when I moved to the city in 2003.  She and I were assistants together and spent long hours pulling product information for stores. We also rolled racks down 5th Avenue on occasion, counted sweaters and tripled checked pricing.. yes, fashion is totally glamourous.  That said, Tracee has over 8 years experience in the fashion industry now and has been involved in merchandising, design, PR – even helped pull off numerous shows during the infamous New York City Fashion Week(s).
Tracee knows a ton about the industry and is one of the biggest shoppers I know (and that says a lot).  Handbags are one of her biggest obsessions, or weaknesses. And she’s a total tourist at heart, recently spending time in Paris. Tracee’s all about exploring new places and is sure to pick some of the best, more undiscovered gems wherever she is.

Condiment Jars with Chalk Surface

Hi Sugar..

Condiment Jars with Chalk Surface, $48

Condiment Jars with Chalk Surface, $48

flour, or whatever else. These ceramic jars are much like the chalkboard skateboard, a great way to repurpose an everyday item or to just really make it your own. Home store in SoHo, Canvas, sells products that combine natural materials and interesting textures.. these jars are a perfect example of their assortment.  Since spotting them, they on my list of must-haves.
