- Kait Vasquez & Chelsea Carson
Guest Hunter post of 2012. To start things off right, we’re introducing two beauties, Kait Vasquez and Chelsea Carson. This sassy duo founded the lingerie line RELIQUE which they started last year by making hand dyed pieces. The emphasis of the line is to make lingerie part of an outfit, rather than being hidden underneath. But what began as a small etsy shop, is quickly transitioning into something greater. RELIQUE,is currently an international collaboration as Chelsea is living in Milan, Italy studying pattern making, and Kait is now calling Brooklyn home, while working her way up the corporate ranks in NYC.
Chelsea brings us a smart assortment that she has come across in her travels, and Kait’s down-to-earth vibe surely comes through in her picks. We’re liking what they’ve got to share, so KEEP READING for more from this pair.

Diemme Roccia Vet
designed as a hunting shoe, the Roccia Vet has been updated with lighter, more comfortable soles making it the perfect shoe for everyday wear. They’re from Diemme, an Italian company that was started by 2 brothers about twenty years ago. Over the past 2 decades, the brand has built a solid name in the industry and for good reason – the product is classic, well-made and designed to take a beating. It’s evident they take pride in their craftsmanship and all products are handmade in Italy from the best materials available. These mountain boot inspired sneakers are made from rugged suede with an extra soft cow leather lining and a vegetable latex footbed. Not to mention cool details like contrasting laces and heel. They’re designed to withstand the elements so these kicks are perfect for the crazy weather that’s coming our way. No surprise, but they seem to be going fast, so get on it guys.

For Get Togethers Collection, $20
cards by Kathryn Whyte, a designer and illustrator out of Philadelphia are a fun way to make plans. They are printed on Fabriano Medioevalis stationery, super soft paper that’s crafted by the Fabriano mill in Italy. 8 to a package, 2 designs of each of the following phrases: we should have dinner together, we should grab a drink later, oh let’s do lunch soon, and hey let’s get brunch sometime – so you’re covered for pretty much any meal. Way better than a text, right?
got kids, then Rody is probably already on your radar. However, if Rody is new to you, then it may just be the best gift to give a kid. Kind of a funny but slightly freaky pony type, this ride on toy offers endless entertainment. It’s made in Italy, comes in 13 different colors, and it helps to develop coordination and balance. Yes, another kid item added our home decor, but something I don’t necessarily mind hanging out in our living room.

Iosselliani Gold Skull Earrings, $120
these gold skull earrings – I saw them this morning on Pinterest and am pretty into skull/diamond shaped black rhinestone combo. They are hand made by Iosselliani – an Italian brand that has a reputation for creating edgy but classic pieces by combining the modern with traditional through their use of metals and stones. Pretty perfect.
