Guest Hunter, Olivia Lin

This week..

Olivia Lin

Olivia Lin

we have Olivia Lin as our Guest Hunter. She’s co-owner and designer of The Little Hummingbird (check out the other half here), is a vegan blogger and also USA Director of Food4Africa.  She loves all animals, but especially her 3 furry family members Lucciano, Valentine + Bernard.  Olivia enjoys music, a good dance party and So You Think You Can Dance! She has a fondness for gifts + things that keep on giving, products created by independent artists + designers, and like a true California girl.. flip-flops.  The Yummy Year Project, which happens to be one of our daily reads, is Olivia’s blog where she cooks, bakes and tries out different recipes all for a great cause. Even with a lot going on, this kind soul finds time to give back. So you’ll definitely want to KEEP READING to see more of Olivia’s creativity and philanthropy, which is something to be admired.

Guest Hunter, Mimi Tsang

Designer..

Guest Hunter, Mimi Tsang

Guest Hunter, Mimi Tsang

and owner of hello shiso, Mimi Tsang is this week’s Guest Hunter, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!  Mimi spent a number of years in New York before heading to Berkeley, CA where she lives with her husband and their 2 kids  – Otis (7) and Bee (4). She finds Berkeley fashion to be “very comfy”, New York “great’ and Tokyo “one of the best cities around – everyone puts so much effort into their looks, even if it’s a messy and tousled look”. Clearly she’s all about individuality and fashion as a form of expression (something we admire!).

So from her not-to-be-missed line (which currently is about hair accessories for girls, but the plan is to add gender-neutral bibs and bags for kids) to her eye for all things cool, Mimi’s not one to miss. KEEP ON READING!

Guest Hunter, Lindsay Meyer-Harley

We’ve got..

Guest Hunter, Lindsay Meyer-Harley

Guest Hunter, Lindsay Meyer-Harley

Lindsay Meyer-Harley along for a week of Guest Hunting. Lindsay lives in Brooklyn, owns Children’s shop; Darling Clementine (which is absolutely adorably, by the way – lots of great local designers) and most importantly is mom to a 2.5 year old girl, Juliette.

Lindsay’s also very into design. When asked about her aesthetic, she has this to say: “I can’t pin it down, I like rustic and modern. Vintage and brand spankin’ new. Soft hues and pops of color. I like what makes me happy and some days that’s hot pink and other days cool greys.”. In addition, she’s a fan of lots of good stuff – from iced coffee to guacamole. Here’s what else made the list: “Days spent outside, watermelon in the summer and chestnuts in the winter, salty popcorn, loose boxy tanks and brightly printed pants. Hot pink nail polish, beachy waves and morning croissants.” From her must-checkout shop to what you’ve read so far, you can probably tell, she’s got style and individuality. So, READ ON. Once again, another Guest Hunter with some super cool finds!

Guest Hunter, Lisa Rondholz

Joining us..

Lisa Rondholz

Lisa Rondholz

as this week’s guest hunter is Lisa Rondholz. She was born in the Garden State and lucky for me, was my neighbor growing up. She was always cutting-edge and surely the coolest kid on the block. She now lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn and is getting married this August (congrats Lisa!). She has worked at Paul Smith for 8 years and often gets the opportunity to travel for work to LA, San Francisco, Vegas and London. And much like us here at threetwentyeight, she enjoys all things food and delicious cocktails.

She’s smart, an individual and very refreshing – so take a look what is topping Lisa’s list by READING ON.

Guest Hunter, Kellie Kalvig

A lady..

Guest Hunter, Kellie Kalvig

Guest Hunter, Kellie Kalvig

by the name of Kellie Kalvig is this week’s Guest Hunter.  Kellie grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is currently happily living in Brooklyn.  She works as a Freelance Art Director so she’s had the luxury of living in some amazing places like San Francisco and Sydney. She’s a self proclaimed “foodie, water lover and deal finder”.  Not to mention, Kellie’s one of those people who is hard to keep track of because she’s always jetting off somewhere.  Day trips, road trips, big trips, you name it, she’s down.

Kellie’s picks were inspired by her love of travel and some of the amazing places she’s been fortunate enough to visit. With her awesome eye, amazing sense of creativity and fun personality, it’s no surprise, her choices are pretty darn badass. So KEEP READING to check out what this worldly lady’s got to say!

Guest Hunter, Louisa Eckersley

After living..

Guest Hunter, Louisa Eckersley

Guest Hunter, Louisa Eckersley

in Venice Beach for 5 years, this week’s Guest Hunter, Louisa Eckersley, her husband and their little girl moved to a new home in West Los Angeles. With the recent move, Louisa has been busy finding furniture and art.  That’s lucky for us; she’s got a fantastic eye and an extensive list. (Something which just makes sense when you realize her husband is an artist and Louisa has a jewelry business.) Her company, Torchlight Jewelry, specializes in crystal necklaces and silver bracelets – all of which are really wearable, provide great energy and pretty much the perfect way to add edge and individuality to the everyday.

Ella is now almost 1 and it’s very apparent she and her husband are busy parenting, making the most of their time with their daughter and having a lot of fun along the way. When she’s not busy with her daughter, working or sourcing furniture, Louisa loves spending time outdoors (she’s counting down the days until Ella can come along camping), cooking, traveling, and making the trip to Santa Barbara to visit with friends and family. She’s an inspiring lady with a lot of style and ton to share. It’s hard to do her justice in a couple paragraphs, so KEEP ON READING to figure it out for yourself!

Guest Hunter, Joyce Hwang

Met..

Guest Hunter, Joyce Hwang

Guest Hunter, Joyce Hwang

our Guest Hunter, Joyce Hwang when we worked together a while back. She’s one of those people who’s super easy-going, always smiling and has fun with her style. Joyce was born and raised in Hong Kong, moved to the States to attend Northwestern University and then headed to New York to start her career in the fashion industry. Currently she’s living in Hong Kong where she’s Product Merchandiser for The Outnet (China) and in a few months will be moving to Shanghai to continue to work for the Net-a-Porter subsidiary.

For Joyce and fashion, no two days are the same.  It’s a great way to “transform and innovate” she says.  “One day I feel like being a hippie, the next day a business woman, the next a rocker.” She describes her style as “eccentric – easy looks with unexpected mixes while still feeling like myself and wearing clothes that make me happy”. She’s an individual and onto trends way before most, so KEEP READING to get schooled from this star.
