everyone is collaborating these days, and one not to miss out on is the partnership between Master Piece and Smith + Butler. They’re delivering some functional and cool back packs that simply come in brick or black. The cotton fabric is treated with paraffin coating, and all of the materials only get better with age. Leaves me wanting more.

It’s cold outside..
so cozy that child up to a Muny Quilt. Double sided, super soft and handmade with 100% cotton voile and natural cotton batting. Muny also makes blankets and scarves in adult sizes, and these oh so sweet tunics are kind of irresistible. The creator of this beautiful line, Samara Mahendru, is based out of Brooklyn but grew up in India; and you can see how both cultures have influenced her designs. If you’ve got a little time to spare this Sunday, stop by their Holiday trunk show to nab one of these vintage throws.
Dolly Tee by Curator
for the fans of Ms. Dolly Parton. Give a nod to the icon with this 100% organic cotton tee by Curator. The artwork is designed by Adele Mildred and also comes in Burt and Loni styles as well. Two friends, Deirdre Nagayama and Stacy Rodgers started Curator (formerly known as the beloved She-Bible) in 2001 and most recently opened a shop in the Upper Noe district of San Francisco. The garments are all made locally, and for the most part are done so with organic fabrics. With all of that said, they top my list just by paying tribute to the Queen of Country Music.
Santa Fe Pillow
in Austin, Texas these pretty patterns by Leah Duncan would bring a bit of whimsy to any room. The pillow cover is removable (perfect if you have kids or happen to be a bit clumsy) and made of a cotton/linen blend. Leah Duncan is an artist and designer whose work includes lovely prints, tea towels, calendars, notebooks and scarves. Take a look at her shop here.

Felt Lion Coat
this felt lion coat. What can I say, it’s just so adorable. Little Goodall was started by Molly Goodall, who’s story many of us can relate to. These designs are all custom made with wool blend felt and cotton linings. Other styles are also available like the fox, bear or dinosaur. More than just a jacket, they are like little works of art that are meant to be handed down from generation to generation. But to be honest, this is one I wouldn’t give up!

Not just another..
ordinary canvas tote. I couldn’t be happier because those are pretty much all I carry these days. A company started by two sisters, One Language creates functional and effortlessly stylish cotton canvas bags. My personal favorite is the Half-N-Half, it’s perfect for the park, beach, a night out or can easily double as a diaper bag.
