It’s a must..
to check out the recently launched book, What to Knit When You’re Expecting. Not just because the author happens to be a friend, or her daughter (who sports the most adorable knitted creations made by her mama) is Leni’s bud, but more so because the 28 patterns featured in the book are all very practical. It’s a smart and lovely collection of booties, hats, sweaters, blankets, and more that are all relatively simple to create. Congrats Nikki!
Leni's Book List

And this is on my list of books to get.
a Brooklyn company that specializes in smaller, local designers, many of the brands sold at Darling Clementine are near and dear to our hearts here at threetwentyeight. The company’s founder started the boutique after finding special items for her daughter that were too sweet to keep to themselves. In addition to carrying lots of local talent, the shop sells special finds from around the world. Regardless of if sourced from near or far, all items are selected not only for the product itself but for the brand’s view toward the environment, community and humanity. The very (and carefully) curated assortment consists of an ever evolving collection of playthings, books, skincare, home care, décor, and clothing for little ones. Yep, darling pretty much sums it up.

Collected by Tas-ka
over pretty much everything Collected by Tas-ka has to offer. Now is the time of hibernation and feeling at “home” in your pad is pretty important (to me at least). This Dutch company really has something for every decorating style, from lampshades, coffee mugs, cutting boards, books, blankets and fabric – well, just go see for yourself. It’s hard to find one thing I don’t like!
Girls by Pamela Hanson
the brilliant book by photographer Pamela Hanson. Girls is definitely not new to the scene, but it quietly sits on my book shelf until I need a spark of creativity. Hit up Blushing Ambition and Knitlit for some more inspiration.
