Book Hook

handy and pretty smart little contraption that was created and designed by Tell Ritterbach. Ritterbach wasn’t satisfied with the everyday bookmark so he was on a mission to find something better.. and the Book Hook was born. It takes the concept of a bookmark and turns the everyday object into a piece of art.  Produced in Germany from grown, massive wood and is available in birch, beech, oak. Design shop, Connox is selling them and just like pretty much everything the carry, I think I want one.

Big Ben Watch (Birch), $95

this on The Upper Echelon and was immediately drawn to the fact that it’s a total update on a timeless piece. The Big Ben Wood Series has a traditional oversized 48MM watch, with a wooden bezel and all wood dials.  It comes with interchangeable bands (made from wood, smooth silicone and black stitched leather) and is available at Flud Watches in Birch, Oak, Redwood, and Black Wood. An ideal way to switch things up and add a bit of edge to everything from jeans and your basic white tee to a suit.
