Cause & Effect

We’ve talked about..

Cause & Effect Belt

Cause & Effect Belt

Deadstock Swedish Army belts, as well as ones from Billykirk and Makr. Now, if you don’t already know about them, would like to introduce you to Cause & Effect. These good-looking belts are created by one man based out of the Tennessee mountains. Billy Moore has no facebook page, no twitter, no store but does have an email address, and that’s exactly how you order this one-of-a kind accessory. The crafting process is lengthy and everything is handmade down to the buckle; so patience is virtue but definitely worth the wait. However if you need instant gratification, some inventory has been stocked at Oakleaf & Acorn and Need Supply Co. As Cause & Effect simply states, “belts, buckles and cool shit”…we concur.

No. 92 Cash/Card Case

Not..

Billykirk No. 92 Cash/Card Case, $85.00

Billykirk No. 92 Cash/Card Case, $85.00

the first post we’ve done on Billykirk. A while back, we wrote about the  No. 165 Carryall from the highly respected leather company that was started in ’99 by two brothers. This time it’s their No. 92 Card/Cash Case that’s getting a write-up. With the great craftsmanship and a reasonable pricepoint, it’s no surprise this customizable (they’ll emboss up to three letters in between the snaps) case is one of their most popular items. It’s made with the front pocket in mind from waxed cording, German Prym snaps and nickel hardware with slots on both the interior. Simple, rugged and made in the USA…  how you like that?

No. 165 Medium Carryall

Kind of loving…

Billykirk NO. 165 Medium Carryall, $320

Billykirk NO. 165 Medium Carryall, $320

this carryall from Billykirk – such a great everyday bag/briefcase. The brand was started in ’99 by two brothers with Southern roots and the line of solid leather goods includes belts, wallets, bags, and satchels. You can just tell the quality leather and hardware are only going to get better the more it’s worn and the simple design is never going to go out of style. Doesn’t hurt that it’s Made in USA either!
