Stanley & Sons Apron

I love..

Striped Apron

Striped Apron

a man who can cook, and there is something to be said for a guy who can pull off one of these. The beautifully constructed aprons are hand-made to order in Brooklyn by Stanley & Sons. Check out the full story behind the brand here, and it’s definitely worth taking a peek at the bags while you’re at it.

SoYoung Backpacks

Many more..

SoYoung Junior Backpack

SoYoung Junior Backpack

thoughtful and lovely designs from SoYoung. It’s no secret that the Charlie Bag is a favorite of threetwentyeight, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to check out a junior backpack. The “camera bag” as I was calling it came along on a beach vacation with the family, and my niece and nephew (who are 12 and 10) were loving the design – actually we all were. Leni wanted to get in on the action too, although I don’t think she’s there quite yet.

Some other neat details of the bag are the waterproof lining and the collapsible insulated lunch sack, which can be used separately. This came in super handy for drinks & snacks.

After vacation, my sister (who is 25) saw the bag in our apartment and was instantly smitten. It’s really the perfect bag for all ages and any adventure whether it’s school, hiking or a day at the beach. What’s not to love?

Opumo

Opumo

men’s accessories web shop that’s worth taking a look at. Opumo is stocked with some pretty killer bags, wallets, sunglasses, ties, socks and so much more. Even my hard to impress husband was in awe of the great selection they carry. So if fine menswear is your thing (or even if its not), Opumo is sure to be a great resource.

hello shiso

Oh my goodness..

hello shiso

hello shiso

everything about this little brand is absolutely adorable – from the branding, to the story  to the most important detail: the product! Designer Mimi Tsang started hello shiso because from early on she got it “accessories can make an outfit”. We couldn’t agree more. I mean, how many times have you heard us say “perfect with jeans & a tee”? Tsang and her team work out of Berkeley, CA and make a very sweet of accessories for boys and girls (of all ages). From hair clips to bibs and bags, this one’s hard to resist.

Osei-Duro

There are..

Osei-Duro

Osei-Duro

so many things at Osei-Duro that caught my eye. The collection is filled with stunning prints and silhouettes. The duo that created this brand, Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh, work with women in West Africa to make beautiful clothing and accessories. Osei-Duro is not only helping to create opportunities for these women, but at the same time is delivering socially responsible and sustainable garments. Can’t wait to see what’s next from this admirable company.

Wm. J. Mills & Co Bags

What’s not..

Flight Bag

Flight Bag

Classic Tote

Classic Tote

to love about the bags from Wm. J. Mills & Co.? All of the goods are meticulously hand crafted (in the company’s Greenport, NY sail loft), using durable high-quality fabric. They offer a wide range of styles like totes, duffels, flight bags, office and computer bags to name a few. You can give it a personal spin by selecting from the huge assortment of colors for both the body and the trim of the bag, making it pretty exclusive. But what it really comes down to is that these bags will be with you for years to come. Like I said, what’s not to love?

Hansel from Basel

It kind of goes without saying..

Hansel from Basel Kneepad Tights

Hansel from Basel Kneepad Tights

that kneepad tights are right up there with elbow patch sweaters. There is no shortage of choices for hosiery this season, but Hansel from Basel is definitely one of my favorites. They’ve got a great assortment of socks, tights, leggings and bags (how great is this zigzag tote?). The Haus Haus Knee Hi ‘s would go perfectly with a pair of Keller boots, and these tights are a simple staple that should be in every girls wardrobe!

African Print Bags

Loving these..

African Print Bag

African Print Bag

African print bags over at the eco-boutique Beklina. They are made from sustainable materials and are hand printed and sewn in Ghana. The best part about these bags is that they are empowering the women of Ghana to practice their trade and giving them financial independence. In addition to these beautiful printed purses, the Beklina shop has a great assortment of organic/green clothing and accessories.
