Guest Hunters, Holly & Hadley

Guest Hunters, Holly & Hadley

this week’s guest hunters, Holly & Hadley. The 2 friends are co-owners and founders of Tada! Shop (a favorite of ours here at threetwentyeight). The well-curated online marketplace is full of stylish must-haves, cool toys and unique gifts for kids – they’ve got you covered with everything from slingshots to dresses we wish came in our size. Tada! Shop has a super cool assortment, which means Hadley & Holly have some damn good taste, so check out their site and before we get going on their picks, here’s a bit more about these two very cool ladies.

Holly…

What did you do prior to opening Tada! Shop? I worked at Martha Stewart Living and Yahoo.
What are your favorite things to do? I love spending time with my family (she has 4 boys ranging from 1 year old to 10 years old), date nights in the city, hot yoga, and cycling at Flywheel – a bit of me-time is a must.
Trips planned? Our family will be heading up to the lake in Northern Michigan to spend time with lots of family and cousins . Our oldest heads off to sleep-away camp, which is exciting.

Hadley…

What did you do prior to opening Tada! Shop? I worked at style.com.
What are your favorite things to do? Spending time with my family (she has 3 girls ages 4, 8 and 10), morning coffee, daily exercise, home decorating – anything with art and flowers. And I have high hopes that my love of cooking will someday make me really good at it.
Trips planned? We are going to the Adirondacks and Rhode Island which we do every year and I am hoping to go out to Montauk, it’s just one of those places I’ve never been + want to go.

Keep reading to get inspired!

Outdoor Space

Outdoor Space

We are so excited to spend time outdoors, congregating as a family, casual entertaining, fire pits + s’mores. We love the idea of twinkle lights, hanging a bunch of different lanterns in the trees and playing with seating. Making the most of our outdoor space.

HER

Loeffler Randall

Loeffler Randall

This sums up two of our obsessions.
Holly… I am into fun toe nail polish as an easy way to let loose and feel girly. My boys just go crazy over the colors.

Hadley... my favorite shoe of the season.

VPL

VPL

We love VPL. Their swim, dresses (and bras too). This bathing suit is a favorite. For us moms who need a little coverage, it’s enough- but still is sleek and stylish.

Lem Lem Top

Lem Lem Top

Lem Lem is a classic in our mind. This top, with a touch neon, is perfect for summer, day or night.

HBO Girls

HBO Girls

This show has me hooked. I love the characters, each and every one and I find their predicaments just so damn funny.

HIM

Blake Blue Seersucker Guayabera

Blake Blue Seersucker Guayabera

Hadley… I love these shirts. I am deciding which to get for father’s day, but these are top on the list.

Greenlines Board Shorts

Greenlines Board Shorts

Hadley… My husband is not a product guy, he actually would prefer to never shop. I got him these and he raves about how comfortable they are.

Krups & Heineken Keg

Krups & Heineken Keg

Holly… My brother-in-law turned us on to this. No brainer for a dad pleaser.

KIDS

Glow-in-the-Dark Spinosaurus Tee

Sun Glow Octopus Tee

Sun Glow Octopus Tee

We are both into tees that the kids get excited to wear. These with their changing color have been a hit for our girls and boys. (Top: Glow-in-the-Dark Spinosaurus Tee; Bottom: Sun Glow Octopus Tee)

ESP No.1

ESP No.1

Hadley… I heard people raving about ESP No. 1 for their comfort, and I thought jeans are jeans for kids. Not true. Both their jeans and their tees have a comfort that make my kids want to wear them every day.

Kiwi Crate

Kiwi Crate

Kiwi Crates are genius (particularly the “party packs“) and thoughtfully done.

DiMenna Children’s History Museum

DiMenna Children’s History Museum

We love day trips during the summer. The new DiMenna Children’s History Museum is at the top of our list!

Secret Garden Kit

Secret Garden Kit

Hadley… My daughter got this for her birthday. She and her sisters had so much fun planting and we are now watching it grow. They are religious about watering it every day.

Scribble Press iPad App

Scribble Press iPad App

A drawing and writing app! It’s absolutely fantastic. It’s like you are in the store picking your pens for your book and a great way to get their creativity going!

COOKING

People's Pops

People’s Pop

Hadley… We tried People’s Pops on the High Line this past Mother’s Day and I am hooked. The Strawberry Rhubarb is insane. I pre-ordered their new cookbook in hopes I can recreate them at home.

Basin Bar Juices

Basin Bar Juices

Holly is into juices as a pick-me-up to get the day going or energize in the afternoon, than full-on cleanses. These Basin Bar Juices are super intense and so delicous. My favorite is the Citrus Shine.

Asian Edamame Fried Rice

This is as delicious as it looks!

Sunday Suppers

Sunday Suppers

We are looking for some quality girl time with our friends. A trip to Sunday Suppers is on our to-make-happen list.
