Fred & Friends Freeze Handgun-Shaped Ice-Cube Tray
and yes, while not being an essential, it is totally cool and quite fun for one of those “got everything” people. The Handgun-Shaped Ice-Cube Tray from Fred & Friends pretty much does what it says – makes ice cubes that are shaped like guns. It comes in a flexible silicone briefcase-shaped exterior complete with a handle. Dishwasher safe, so doesn’t get much easier. Pick yours up at Amazon. You’re guaranteed to have the coolest ice-cubes in town.
Guest Hunter, Mimi Tsang
and owner of hello shiso, Mimi Tsang is this week’s Guest Hunter, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Mimi spent a number of years in New York before heading to Berkeley, CA where she lives with her husband and their 2 kids – Otis (7) and Bee (4). She finds Berkeley fashion to be “very comfy”, New York “great’ and Tokyo “one of the best cities around – everyone puts so much effort into their looks, even if it’s a messy and tousled look”. Clearly she’s all about individuality and fashion as a form of expression (something we admire!).
So from her not-to-be-missed line (which currently is about hair accessories for girls, but the plan is to add gender-neutral bibs and bags for kids) to her eye for all things cool, Mimi’s not one to miss. KEEP ON READING!

paper accessories called SIWA (pronounced shiwa) really caught my attention. The collection includes totes, shoes, hats and more that are all water-resistant, don’t rip and are very strong. They are designed by Naoto Fukasawa and developed by the Onao paper company. If you are curious to see more they can all be found here.

granola, rawnola. I came across it at Le Pain Quotidien in Philadelphia a few weeks ago and because I’m a fan of pretty much all things they make, quickly jumped on picking up a bag. It’s made from all things good – flax seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, and that’s just a few of what’s in their. Raw and ridiculously healthy, try it. Really nothing to lose!

Digital Linen Bandana
100% linen, the Digital Linen Bandana from Outlier is like an old school handkerchief. Absorbs moisture quickly and only gets better with age. The artwork from Dan Funderburgh is digitally printed to create this easy accessory. It’s a no-brainer to have around.
real deal. These handsewn moccasins are made in Maine from quality materials. Features include vibram rubber soles, a layer of cushioning and hand-stitched details. Simply put, they’ve got the classic moccasin vibe and stay true to what they’re about – being functional, durable, timeless and ideal for wearing now. Pick up a pair at UNIONMADE.
even just looking at the pieces from The Velvet Bird make me feel pretty. Anything with a loose silhouette and peter pan collar instantly gets my attention, like these White Lola, Bookworm or Seafarer Dresses. They’re made to order and the prices are kind of amazing too. What’s even better is that 20% of all profits on handmade items go to Love146.org to fight and prevent human trafficking in the U.S. I’m smitten.

Eleven Paris Aztec Print Dress
summer has been all about comfort for me – and that means dresses. The Aztec Print Dress from Eleven Paris is pretty much ideal. It has an oversized cut, thoughtful details and just the right amount of edge. Basically an everyday piece that’s totally stylish without trying too hard. Not to mention, perfect for transitioning to the warmer weather with accessories like a pair of black booties. Once again, it’s just easy, and I’m sold.
are pretty awesome. Chair Skis turn any ordinary seat into a rocking chair. Designed by Marie Thurnauer and can be found at Petites Productions. Brilliant.

Muuto & Harri Koskinen’s Cosy Lamp, $200
in the market for new lighting a few months back and the search was surprisingly difficult. I found some that I’m quite content with, but Muuto & Harri Koskinen’s Cosy Lamp would’ve been a hard one to resist. Made from mouth blown glass and completely understated, this piece is pretty much a work of art and sure to start some conversations.
