Mood Garden Tea
a brand new kind of tea is coming soon (pre-sale starts any day and official retail will begin in April to be exact). Mood Garden Tea takes the inconvenience out of needing a separate infuser by bagging their Fair Trade loose leaf teas in some quite genius white picket fence-like packaging, which also doubles as a bookmark by the way. Each tea corresponds back to a color, flower and mood. As you take a tea bag, more of the flower is revealed. Certainly smart and definitely not your mom’s cup of tea.

Thief & Bandit
with Thief & Bandit Kids. This brand is all about bright colors, bold prints and just overall happy clothes. The seriously cute tees, leggings and braided headbands will get your kid lots of attention. What’s better is that everything is handmade using organic jersey. And if you are hoping these come in grown-up sizes too, then you are in luck.

by her children, Asta, the mother of twins quit her day job to start bug2hug – a lovely line of clothing and accessories for little ones. Since launch, the Lithuanian brand has grown tremendously. It consists of a tight assortment of knits for babies and children. Each piece has wonderful details, uses the finest yarns and is designed in the most wearable of colors. Made to last and with love, lots of love.
Outlier Soft Core Wool Vest
written up here before by our lovely guest hunter Shannon, but the Outlier Wool Vest deserves another mention. It’s almost that time of year to pull this guy out of the closet and layer over a sweater – it’s ideal on a day like today. It is a nice looking vest that keeps you warm, but is also designed to avoid overheating. This is one piece that the ladies are going to want to borrow.
Got to love..
YMC Navajo Shoe
You Must Create (YMC). We did a write-up after discovering the line a while back – their ability to take classics and make wearable on-trend pieces was what drew us to the brand. No surprise, but they did it again by taking an everyday style and making their own with their Navajo Shoe. Vulcanised gum rubber sole, 100% cotton canvas uppers, and the oh-so recognizable Navajo Print. Really can’t go wrong guys.

extra time I was given yesterday (thank you Leni for that super long nap), I had the chance to peruse Style.com. I was able to catch up on the Fall 2012 runway shows, and find some inspiration since I’m feeling a bit drab this month. I am no fashion expert, but I can tell you that I normally opt for comfort, with a bit of an edge. However, when it comes to the runway, practicality is usually non-existent – although I am excited how wearable all of these styles seem to be. My time was limited, and I’m sure I missed a ton, but here are just a few of the looks that caught my eye:

"I ♥ NY" & "HAVE A NICE DAY" Leather Corner Stone Bags, $178-$218
used to seeing these logos on plastic bags we get when we order delivery or go to the local deli, but Cast of Vices has made them their own. The innovative brand took recognizable logos like “HAVE A NICE DAY”, “THANK YOU” and (my personal favorite) “I ♥ NY” and made a totally legit everyday accessory. The Leather Corner Store Bags are made from genuine lambskin leather and embossed. They come in black or white and are pretty much the ideal way to carry your belongings, regardless of the season.

Siksakkia Cutting Board
kitchen a quick makeover with these potholders, oven gloves and cutting boards from Rk Design. The brand was created in 2011 by Riikka Kantinkoski, Finnish photographer and designer. And beyond kitchen accessories, there are fun things for kids and grown-ups too. How fab are these happy stickers!?!? Great for dressing up a boring bookcase or giving a little artistic edge to a plain cardboard house. See it all from Rk Design here.

iHome iP4 Portable Boombox
online last week and fell in love with the aesthetic. I’ll be honest, I know nothing about the performance. Looks old-school, but don’t be fooled, this Portable Boombox is totally relevant: it’s made for an iPhone or iPod. So what’s it gonna be – hot pink or (or the maybe more practical) black?
west coast we’re bringing you our Guest Hunter, Robin Scholle. After living in NYC for many years, Robin has now settled in San Fransisco with her husband, their dog and 2 cats. She enjoys good coffee, art, music and all things natural. She studied photography and design (and lucky for her, she is very talented at both). She’s genuine, funny and is just someone you always want to be around. Not to mention she’s got killer style and is one of my dearest friends!
So, from tasty treats to Bay Area gems, this beautiful lady has some real good stuff to share – and you can find it all HERE.
