definitely reminds me of my mother. She ALWAYS used a Foley Food Mill to make homemade applesauce when I was a kid. It was just the right mix of sweet and spicy, had a hint of cinnamon and the texture was perfectly smooth. Thinking of it makes me want some right now. Anyway, she only recently traded in her antique for a newer version, and it’s her most preferred kitchen supply. The food mill is also great for making mashed potatoes, baby foods and sauces.
