Kamenoko Tawashi Scrubber

Kamenoko Tawashi Scrubber

a plain old sponge just doesn’t cut it. The Kamenoko Tawashi Scrubber from Japan seems like a pretty amazing little thing. First produced in 1907 by Seizaemon Nishio, who developed it out of palm fiber. Durable enough to tackle tubs and sinks (hey, you never know who lived there before you), pots & pans, or even root vegetables. It would make a great housewarming gift along with this, and can be found at The Shop at Cooper-Hewitt.
