get much cooler than Kat West’s line Babylady. I mean harem pants, a tee-shirt dress with a flannel collar, the redding top (which a description won’t do justice) – and that’s just to name a few styles from the fall 2011 collection. Babylady is all about unique pieces that are sure to draw attention, but in a good way. The line is full of contemporary, fun, edgy, easy, free-spirited items that totally embody what West’s brand is all about – “inspiring and igniting creativity”. Not to mention, 100% locally made right here in New York’s Garment District. If all of this isn’t enough, in 2010 West came up with we.make.do. It’s made up of about 12 styles of tees and sweatshirts that have playful prints and unique designs, and are just kind of happy. A portion of the proceeds from we.make.do go to West Coast based charity Save the Whales. To sum it up, what Babylady is doing is pretty darn amazing.
