Long Sleeved Field Shirt

There’s a reason..

Woolrich Long Sleeved Field Shirt

Woolrich Long Sleeved Field Shirt

a brand like Woolrich has been around since 1830. Their ability to make classic American clothing that is well-constructed with details that are super functional has given them reputation of being the “original outdoor clothing company”. Not to mention, they aren’t swayed by the latest trends – they stay true to who they are and I like that. In recent years, their signature styles have put them back on the map and shirts like the Field Shirt are keeping them on everyone’s radar (and in some pretty cool stores, like End Clothing) – good plaid, 100% cotton, stitched elbow patch detail.. can’t really go wrong with it.

Planet Awesome Kid – and they should be. Founder, Julia Samersova Adler, is paving the way for kids street style, and doing amazing things in the blogging world. One (of many) of my favorite posts is an interview with Florence Rolando of Pirouette, and this is my other. Keep up with the coolest kids on the planet.

9mm Pendant, Single Row with Diamonds

I had..

Santo by Zani 9mm Pendant, $425

Santo by Zani 9mm Pendant, $425

one of these pendants and was totally disappointed when I came home after wearing it one afternoon to find the bullet had somehow unscrewed itself. Nonetheless, I still need to do a post on it because in my opinion, they’re pretty great. So, the special order line is called Santo by Zani, it was started by Zani in 2008. The pendants are made from cast iron bullets and range in price depending on the metal, type of stone and style you pick.  The top of each bullet unscrews and inside is a scroll to write a wish, goal or whatever else – just be sure it’s screwed on tight.. real tight.

the brilliant book by photographer Pamela Hanson. Girls is definitely not new to the scene, but it quietly sits on my book shelf until I need a spark of creativity. Hit up Blushing Ambition and Knitlit for some more inspiration.

Cardboard Series Skateboards

Cardboard Series Skateboards

Cardboard Series Skateboards

Dominic Owen and Danielle Lovett, this series of skateboards was inspired by the legendary Z-boys and shown at the Purple Haze Exhibition in Bath. An exhibit that highlighted work based on the 70’s.  Pretty cool what some cardboard can turn into.
